Cubot C11 uses a MTK6572 chip the last cubot c series phone the C10 used the MTK6517. The chip also known as the (CPU central processing unit) runs the task of the phone so a 3G capable phone would require a chip capable of running 3G. In my last cubot C10 review i worried cubot would not keep the series under $100 and would go down the road of continuously increasing the price of C series phones which would destroy the low cost appeal.
I'm glad the C11 has seen a slight price decline while improving performance over the C10 and the new MTK6572 chip is largely responsible that or Cubot read my site and decided to take heed of my criticism, between me and you my ego loves the latter. And the award for cubot critique goes to.

As a phone the C11 is superior in every way to the C10 which is impressive for a less expensive phone but also highlights how quickly Chinese phones are developing. GSM chips are compatible but no 3g. 4GB of ROM is which will hold over 1000 3 minute songs however pre installed operations will use up some space.
A 5 inch QHD (quarter HD) screen on an android phone under $100 is the main out of the ordinary.
