Cubot One Review

Cubot One is a master copy of the HTC One in terms of design. When most Chinese phones are copied the screen size is slightly increased but cubot have kept it exactly the same.

If you were expecting the Cubot One and HTC One to perform at the same level you were wrong. Cubot have not produced a phone that will out perform the HTC.
The HTC has 2GB of RAM making it better at multitasking and running programs faster than the 1GB RAM Cubot. However the mediatek  6589 and graphics processing unit used in the Cubot One is proven to deliver on even the most visual of programs. Not 2GB RAM but still very good.
The only places the Cubot has out shined is it's superior camera capabilities.
HTC One has one 4MP Camera
Cubot One has a front 5MP camera and back 13.0MP camera.
It's understandable on HTC part given the extra cost.
Although the Cubot has no 4G it is a dual sim phone which is useful for travelling and being able to give out separate numbers.


Compared to another Cubot phone of similar price  the Cubot M6589 the One has  a higher antutu benchmark score, doubled, the ROM from 4GB to 8GB and added an extra battery to the package which is great for more juice' at around the same price.
So by Cubot and other phone brands standards the Cubot One excellent value for money.

Overall the Cubot One is very respectable as phone but when it looks exactly like the HTC one it just falls into the category of cheap knock off. With a more original design the Cubot one would receive nothing but positive reviews.
