Obviously because this is a durability phone and not just a phone with durability like so many gorilla glassed androids we have to judge the snopow M8 by more than its price. Being as durable as it is it saves money in the long run but cost a lot more than a phone offering similar features in the short run.

looking at the antenna it seems more like a walkie talkie than an actual phone and with good reason the antenna increases reception so as to benefit less urban locations with phone calls not to mention 3G coverage is notoriously more flimsy in some locations so the M8's antenna welcome. This design has also helped achieve rating of IP68 waterproof.
