Has Cubot gone all britney on us?
C10 is the first in the C series to have Android 4.1 pre installed.
Previously 2.3 was the given, upgrading was possible but would render warranty void. If i had android 2.3 I would be very tempted to upgrade but having 4.1 much later android system would make it a lot easier to resist and save time. I like to feel up to date.
Until this phone Cubot had not produced something in the C series with five a point touch the previous C9 had only a two point touch screen.
How many points can the C10 be touched at?
10 obviously as the name suggests why else call it the C10.
Just joking it's five.
What does that mean?
This models screen can respond to being touched at five points simultaneously with greater accuracy than a lower touch point screen.
With a screen 4.5 inches could you imagine touching it at ten points at once? it would be a challenge to make use of all those points on as screen that size.
4.5 is large for a phone and a 5 point touch is excellent and what I see as the peak of practicality.
Benchmarked Cubot C10 Specs
Excellent Phone quality but I like the cheaper C9's design better and many the features don't change. However you can see where the money was spent. A slightly larger screen GPU Graphics Proccessing Unit and larger memory.
The extras are worth the money depending on use. When I think of cubot's C series I think of day to day use phones under 80$ with lots of features that perform tasks well. Cubot put so many features into the previous C series that the option for releasing the C10 was to add more memory. Or agreat feature this dual sim series is missing 3G.
The phone is cheap but for something of the price I feel as though it does not fit in with the c series based on pricing.10's a nice a whole number and maybe it will be the last of it's kind but i fear the C Models going down a dangerous path of continuous add ons destroying the low price appeal. Maybe I can't see the C series is going through some changes
It's not a C series Cubot not yet a Samsung
Is it the Cubot Cten or Cubot C Teen
I think it looks much better shaved, the price I mean.
Great phone for the price I'm only slightly critical of this phone because of its predecessors, the quality and features this phone offers is a bargain but that is a given with Cubot C phones, perhaps that makes me unappreciative.
The only genuine annoyance is still no 3G.
If this phone had 3G I would Struggle not to sing its praises
